Bambi's Childcare is owned and managed by two friends, Carla Roberts and Lucy Herbert.

We have known eachother for 20 years through living in the same town where we attended the same schools and we have been good friends since 2011.

We have both worked in childcare since we left school and have worked in a variety of settings, many that were the same but at different times, that gave us vast knowledge and experience. In 2011 we worked togeher for the first time and discovered that we shared the same values and passion for childcare. This is when we decided to research and set up our own setting.

In the following year we worked exteremely hard to plan, find the perfect premisis and advertise our new venture. Carla was undertaking her Level 4 in Early years during this time which helped significantly with the business side of things. We both had the same vision of how we wanted our setting to look and operate. We both wanted it to be small and homely with a personal home from home feeling where children in our care would feel safe and loved.

On October 1st 2012 Bambi's Childcare opened its doors for the first time and since then we have welcomed many wonderful families and staff members and created our very own bambi family. We have so far cared for and nurtured seven cohorts of preschool groups and prepared them for their school life and will continue to do this as the years go by.

We pride ourselves with the love and care we give to our children and families and have on many occassions gone the extra mile to support them.
